When you use our coverage audit, you select your credit cards, phone carrier, auto insurance provider, memberships, vehicle information, and state. This information is used solely to match you against our coverage database and is not stored on our servers after your session ends.

Information collected automatically

We use Plausible Analytics (privacy-first, cookie-free) to understand how people use Roadside Genie. This collects anonymized page view counts, referrer sources, and broad geographic regions (country-level only). No personal identifiers are collected. No cookies are set for analytics purposes.

Location data

In emergency rescue mode, you may choose to share your GPS location to find nearby assistance. Location data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. We do not store or track your location.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To match your selected cards, carriers, insurance, memberships, and vehicle against our coverage database
• To display your nearest state highway patrol service based on your selected state
• To improve the accuracy and completeness of our coverage database through anonymized usage patterns
• To display relevant advertisements through ad networks

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your individual selections with third parties. Your coverage audit results are generated locally in your browser.

3. Cookies & Tracking

Roadside Genie does not use tracking cookies for analytics. Third-party advertising partners (Media.net, InfoLinks, or similar) may set cookies to serve relevant ads. These cookies are governed by the respective ad network's privacy policy.

Affiliate links to third-party services (Allstate, Liberty Mutual, AAA, etc.) may use tracking parameters to attribute referrals. Clicking an affiliate link takes you to the advertiser's website, which is subject to their own privacy policy.

4. Data Storage & Retention

Your coverage audit selections are processed in your browser and are not stored on our servers. We do not maintain user accounts, login systems, or persistent profiles. Each audit session is ephemeral — refreshing the page starts a new session.

5. Third-Party Services

Roadside Genie may link to or integrate with:

• Advertising networks (Media.net, InfoLinks) — serve contextual display advertisements
• Affiliate networks (CJ Affiliate, FlexOffers) — track referrals to roadside assistance and insurance providers
• Phone dialer — clicking a phone number opens your device's native dialer app

These third parties have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

6. Children's Privacy

Roadside Genie is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Since Roadside Genie does not store personal data or maintain user accounts, there is typically no data to access or delete.
